New York singer/songwriter, Suzanne hit the charts on both sides of the Atlantic in the mid-80s. Along with artists like Tracy Chapman, she set the groundwork for female singer/songwriters working a stylish literary folk genre. Her cool minimal sound and bitter-sweet lyrics continues to haunt the British music scene today.

Seal first came to attention when he provided the vocals for Adamski's track 'Killer', a track that enjoyed phenomenal success and spent four weeks at #1. His debut single 'Crazy' was even bigger, topping the charts in three countries. Since then he has enjoyed phenomenal international success with his two eponymous albums (released in 1991 and 1994) and 'Human Being' (1998). His 1995 Top 5 hit 'Kiss From A Rose' won two Grammy Awards for Song Of The Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

This, the ninth year of the Summer Festivities of Early Music, will be rooted in French taste (L´Art français), starting with the festal entrée in Troja Chateau. The renowned French company Stradivaria, issuing primarily from perfect harmony and unique timbre of string instruments, present themselves led by the violinist Daniel Cuiller in a very intimate ensemble; alongside the violin can be heard the tenor, viola da gamba and harpsichord. Stradivaria demonstrates its art in works by François Couperin, Marin Marais and Jean-Philippe Rameau.
After several years of reconstruction, House number 211 in Nerudova street had finally liven up and invites you to its beautiful expanses. Thanks to sensitive approach it was succeeded to preserve original painted ceilings, ancient arches and wooden joists, which you might admire even nowadays.
